Career FAQs

All our vacancies are advertised on SEEK. If you find a job you’re interested in, click ‘Apply’.

You will need a covering letter addressing the key selection criteria and a current CV to apply for the role.

People and Culture manages the recruitment process from beginning to end. For most positions, we begin with a telephone conversation. If there’s interest on both sides, we invite the candidate for a first interview. If you have a successful first interview, you may be invited to a second interview. Not all positions require two interviews and not all interviews are held face to face.

Depending on availability, some interviews may be held via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Upon completion of the interview stage and the relevant pre-employment screening, a member of the team will be in touch with you.

It’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with your CV and prepare examples of your key achievements. You could also familiarise yourself with our website and our values. Identifying with our values will assist you during the interview process and will give you a clearer understanding of what it’s like to work here.

Most importantly, relax with us. We want you to be yourself and feel comfortable during the interview process. You may meet more than one or two people. Ask questions. Be curious. We are authentic people with a genuine interest in you.

We try to make a decision within a week of the final interview.

Law Compliance is looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Sales & Marketing to lead the next phase of growth for our compliance technology business.

This is an opportunity to shape the commercial direction of a respected and growing organisation operating at the intersection of legal expertise, compliance, and technology.

Working directly with the CEO, you’ll lead our sales and marketing strategy across direct channels, partnerships, and digital initiatives — helping organisations across Australia navigate legislative compliance through our SaaS platform, Comply Online®, and leading GRC solutions.

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. While ideally a full-time position, we will consider part-time for the right applicant.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Driving revenue growth
  • Building scalable sales and marketing systems
  • Leading strategic partnerships
  • Strengthening market positioning
  • Developing a high-performing commercial function

You’ll work closely with leadership while having genuine autonomy to influence commercial strategy, improve processes, and build capability as the business grows.

What You’ll Be Doing

Commercial Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and execute the overall sales and marketing strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Build scalable and repeatable growth systems across direct sales, partnerships, and digital channels
  • Own pipeline development, forecasting, pricing, positioning, renewals, and expansion opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, industries, and partnership channels
Sales Leadership
  • Lead strategic sales opportunities from qualification through to close
  • Drive disciplined pipeline management, CRM accuracy, and forecasting
  • Develop strong prospecting and relationship strategies to grow the client base
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with GRC and technology partners
Marketing & Demand Generation
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads
  • Lead content, digital, event, and partnership initiatives aligned to target industries
  • Refine messaging and positioning to clearly communicate the value of our services and solutions
  • Monitor campaign performance, lead conversion metrics, and commercial outcomes
Leadership & Capability Building
  • Build, mentor, and lead a collaborative and high-performing sales and marketing function
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Align sales and marketing activities with operational delivery and business objectives

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will:

  • Increase qualified pipeline and revenue growth
  • Strengthen Law Compliance’s market presence and brand positioning
  • Build scalable sales and marketing processes
  • Develop strong strategic referral and partnership channels
  • Improve lead generation performance and conversion outcomes
  • Create commercial discipline through accurate forecasting and CRM management

About You

You’re a commercially minded leader who combines strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach.

You enjoy working in agile and growing businesses where you can make a genuine impact and help shape the future direction of the organisation.

You’ll likely bring:

  • Proven experience leading B2B sales and marketing functions in SaaS, technology, compliance, professional services, or related sectors
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, partnerships, and lead generation outcomes
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing pipelines, forecasting, and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience building trusted client and partner relationships
  • The ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling client value propositions
  • A collaborative leadership style with strong accountability and execution capability
Highly Regarded
  • Experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), legal technology, regtech, or compliance-related industries
  • Experience working within growing or scaling businesses

What We Offer

  • A genuine opportunity to shape the commercial growth of a respected compliance business
  • Direct access to leadership and influence over strategic direction
  • A collaborative, agile, and supportive team environment
  • Hybrid working arrangements
  • Opportunity to build and scale a high-performing function
  • Competitive remuneration package
Location

Melbourne-based preferred, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
